FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Memphis Law Firm Investigating Roundup and Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma

Memphis, TN, 4/4/17 — Memphis personal injury law firm Darrell Castle & Associates seeks cases related to the Monsanto herbicide Roundup. Studies show the product may be connected to non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Attorney Darrell Castle asks anyone who has been exposed to Roundup and suffered from non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma to contact him immediately.

As the most widely used herbicide in the world, Roundup has been applied by farmers, landscapers, and gardeners almost exclusively for decades. But in 2015, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) labeled the active ingredient in Roundup as a probable carcinogen.

Until recently, Monsanto owned a patent on the Roundup chemical glyphosate. It first appeared in Roundup and has been independently classified as a 2A carcinogen. Roundup also contains something called POEA, which has not been tested independently for how it interacts with glyphosate.

Now unsealed documents show Monsanto may have misled the public on its safety standards and research practices. The documents came to light in a related lawsuit.

“This product received inadequate testing,” says attorney Darrell Castle, “and we believe people died as a result. Independent studies show Roundup contains an incredibly toxic soup of ingredients, and it appears Monsanto may have purposefully hidden its dangers. We plan to ask the right questions and get justice.”

Founded in 1984, Memphis area personal injury firm Darrell Castle & Associates has represented plaintiffs for numerous product injury cases, including painkillers, birth control, and medical devices. The firm received the Martindale-Hubbell Client Distinction Award for responsiveness and quality.

Anyone who has used Roundup and developed non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma should contact Darrell Castle immediately at 901-327-1212 or by email at info(at)darrellcastle.com.
