Sports gambling & debt

By: Darrell Castle

The World Cup is upon us and it’s drawing a big buzz here in the US, including the casual soccer fans who only watch the sport every four years when the World Cup presents itself. However, it’s also an event drawing interest from people who don’t care for the sport whatsoever, but instead love to bet on big games.

Now, there are two types of gamblers from my view – those who gamble for fun, and those who gamble to make ends meet.

The people who gamble to make ends meet are the ones I’m worried about, especially when they probably can’t make ends meet in the first place because they’ve lost their money gambling!

Before you go make bets on the World Cup, or really gamble in general, ask yourself why you’re doing it. Are you gambling just because it’s fun? Or are you gambling because you’re in debt and can’t pay your bills?

If you’re the latter, I have a better solution for you! By filing for bankruptcy, you can discharge your debt through a Chapter 7 or lump your debt into an affordable 3-5 year repayment plan through a Chapter 13. By doing so, you free yourself from the chains of that debt and move into a life of financial freedom in which you can begin spending your money the right way!

At Darrell Castle & Associates, we have a team of experienced and devoted lawyers who want to help you get out of that debt, and they know the bankruptcy system very well. But we don’t want to just let you loose after the bankruptcy process has completed; we want to help you move forward financially.

We do this by offering you access to a wonderful credit restoration program called “7 Steps to a 720” in which you’ll learn secrets the banks don’t want to you know in regards to re-establishing and rebuilding your credit the right way. And, this great program, which is valued at $1,000, is offered free to our clients!
