“Hello, I’m Darrell Castle. I’m a social security disability attorney licensed to practice law in the state of Tennessee.

“One of the questions I get quite often is, ‘I think I am disabled, how can I get benefits started?’ Well, applying is the first step. Applying is easy. You can do that online, or you can do it in person at the social security department, but applying is not the problem; the problem is having your application accepted. And that is difficult. Most, the vast majority, are not accepted, folks. Remember, if you apply yourself, you have only 60 days to file an appeal, only 60 days. We can help you with the appeal if you get it to us in under 60 days, but we can also help you with the application process. Why not bring me in at the application process and let me help you do the application? You have a much better chance of getting disability benefits by doing that.We can do the appeal for you, certainly, our fee will be the same either way: a small percentage of your past due benefits, benefits from the time disability started until time of your disability hearing when it’s actually approved. That is your past due about. Of that, we would get a small percentage, so better to hire us in the application process, but to us, it’s okay if you wanted us to do the appeal; we’d be glad to do that.

“Now, why should you hire us? Because even if your medically unable to work, even if your doctor says you’re medically unable to work, perhaps the doctor reports and other things do not meet the statutory language. We can help you with that. We can make sure that the reports are worded so that you do meet the statutory language. That’s a big advantage, folks.

“You call me about it right now; you’ll be glad you did.”
