What To Do When You Can’t Make Your Car Payment

As a attorney to stop repossession in Memphis, TN, I’ve helped thousands of people avoid losing their cars. But not everyone comes to me first. Sometimes people will try to hide their cars in order to avoid a repossession. Here’s why you shouldn’t do that and why you should call me instead.

Hello I’m Darrell Castle. I’m an attorney here in the state of Tennessee, and I help people stop repossession. That’s one of the things that I do. Sometimes people come into my office and they ask me, “Help me hide my car from the repo man.” I say no, I can’t do that.
Number one: it’s probably illegal. And number two: it is not the best thing for you. The best thing for you is to have a permanent solution to your credit problems and your debt problems.
If you just hide your car, it makes no sense at all because: 1) The repo man is going to find it sooner or later. And 2) don’t you need the car? Isn’t that the whole point? How can you use the car if you’ve got to keep someone from finding it?
The best way is to have a permanent solution to your debt problem. That’s what I do. That’s where I come in. A permanent solution would be through use of the bankruptcy laws. If you could file a Chapter 13, for example, it would stop the repossession of your vehicle and probably even lower your payment – lower it to a very affordable amount.
Perhaps you could even include all of your bills into that one payment that used to be your car payment. That would help you, and that’s what I do, folks. You should call me about that. I’ve done tens of thousands of them, really. Call me right now – you’ll be glad you did.
