One of the following four statements is false.

  1. You’re never too out of shape to begin working out.
  2. You’re never too old to go to back to school.
  3. You’re never too far in debt to get out.
  4. You’re never too formal to wear white socks with dress shoes.

I’m sorry, but if you’re wearing white socks with dress shoes, then go ahead and click this link right here to buy some new and affordable (non-white) dress socks.

The other three statements are completely accurate and all revolve around self-improvement. No matter where you’re sitting at this very moment – no matter what your history looks like – it’s never too late to take the necessary actions to improve your life.

That includes getting out of debt.

Don’t let debt control your life, no matter how big of a leap you’ve taken into it. Take the steps to get out of it, no matter how big or small it is.

If your debt is small enough, then simply changing spending and saving habits may get you out of that hole.

However, your debt hole may be dug so deep that simply changing your spending and saving habits won’t even get you to that first step on the ladder. What you need is a fresh start.

Have you considered bankruptcy?

By filing for bankruptcy, you can discharge your dischargeable debts through a Chapter 7, or you can lump your debts into an AFFORDABLE repayment plan through a Chapter 13. A bankruptcy attorney can help determine which chapter is best for you depending on your unique situation.

Then, once the bankruptcy is complete, you have a clean slate and a fresh start financially. You can use this fresh start to begin rebuilding your finances the RIGHT WAY.
