Perhaps worst of all, a clean slate seems utterly unimaginable — many people debilitated by debt believe it’s impossible to turn their lives around. I’ve seen again and again that bankruptcy is a way out. It stops the devastation of debt in its tracks and offers the second chance that once seemed impossible.
