A truck driver pulled into his lane and appeared to clip him, sending Mark Cathey to the hospital, with a collapsed lung, five broken ribs and a broken scapula among other scrapes and bruises. Blue Bell — based in Texas — distributes their ice cream, frozen yogurt and snack products in 23 states, including here in Tennessee. By: Darrell Castle This past Sunday around 6:30 am, an alleged drunk driver smashed into a car outside of Memphis on Highway 78. Two Briarcrest students — both 17 year old girls — were killed in the accident. Two other teenage girls in the car were injured, as well as the grandmother of one of the girls. The grandmother was driving. Melandus Penson — the driver responsible for this accident — has been charged with two counts of DUI. According to reports, the girls were on their way to the beach when the accident happened.
